A tourist needs data for two weeks and then forgets the country. You fly home — the same route, every year, sometimes several times a year. That changes everything: you need a network that works in your family's neighbourhood (not just the tourist districts), a plan that survives three weeks at your relatives', and your European number kept alive the whole time for bank, work and WhatsApp. That is exactly what a diaspora eSIM is built for.
That is why we do not sell '190 countries' thinly. We sell the routes our own families fly: Turkey, the Maghreb, the Balkans, Iraq, East and West Africa — done properly, with networks confirmed with our provider and the price visible before you pay.
The Turkey eSIM is our most travelled route — the same eSIM covers the hotel week on the coast and the weeks at your relatives'. The Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia eSIMs cover the Maghreb summers, when half of Europe drives down at once. The Serbia and Bosnia eSIMs cover the Balkan routes. Every destination page shows the exact network, activation time and price — compare there, not in this guide, because the prices on those pages are always the current ones.
The eSIM installs NEXT TO your usual SIM, not instead of it. Your European card stays in with calls and SMS on (data roaming OFF) — so bank codes, work calls and your WhatsApp number carry on as usual. The eSIM only handles the data, on a local network at local terms. Your family sees the same number as always; the only thing that changes is that you skip the bill afterwards.
Students, expats and everyone staying the whole summer: plans run up to 30 days, and when the data runs out you top up from your order page in one tap — same eSIM, no new QR code. As a yardstick, WhatsApp voice calls use about 40 MB per hour and video calls 300–500 MB per hour, so it is the video calls that decide whether you need the bigger plan.
Our eSIMs are data eSIMs: no local phone number, no regular voice calls — calls run over WhatsApp and the like, on the data. We sell no 'unlimited' plans with hidden throttling, and we do not invent reviews: the ones shown come from verified orders, and for now we have only just opened. If your destination has a restriction (like the VoIP rules in the UAE), it says so plainly on its page — before you buy, not after.
A country plan covers its country. For trips that cross borders there are regional bundles — when shown on the home page, one QR code covers the whole route, cheaper than buying per country.
Yes — installation is one QR code and the guides are written for first-timers. And if it gets stuck, there is the WhatsApp support: a human answers, really.
